Founded by flute and tin whistle player, Kirsten Allstaff, along with her husband concertina player Matthew Curley, the Online Academy of Irish Music has been offering courses in Irish music since 2010.
OAIM is headquartered in beautiful Doolin, Co. Clare, the heart of traditional music in Ireland, and via their unique online platform, they provide tuition in traditional Irish instruments—via video streaming.
Since the onset of the current health crisis, OAIM has been organising a series of Global Session tunes, a showcase for members of their community who went to the effort of recording and sending in a video.
